‘gender.’ is an original coffee table book created by Elysia Mae Palmer. This book was created for Elysia’a Final Major Project for my BA (Hons) Fashion Photography in 2021, and it investigates into the modernly celebrated gender spectrum. Discover the raw opinions, personal definitions and honest experiences with gender from 16 differing individuals from a large variety of backgrounds. This project is intended to give people of opposing experiences and views on gender a space to feel listened to and accepted, as well as hoping to educate people on the different forms of self expression and identity. Gender isn’t simply just male and female. It is how you truly feel inside.
